UK cannabis not to remain class C

The official body advising the government on drugs policy thinks cannabis should keep its class C status, apparently conflicting with the PM's views. cannabis is now a class B drug and ok for criminals to sell.

Shit weed with bad side effects wouldn't exist if weed was legal in the first place. Doesn't it make more sence to sell weed legally as you would buy alcohol and tobacco. Surely that way there will be less victims of crimes, dealers, shitty weed mixed with rat poison ect that kill people. The real reason why it isn't legal is so people can't wake up and start loving each other regardless of gender, class, and race. There's a lot more money where there's conflict.

@JudasPriestLiam I have smoked week since 1980 and believed for a long time that all drugs should be licensed and taxed legally. But after seeing what our government and USA government waste tax payers money on I think not.I bet you every penny taxed from tobacco is used to kill Afghan people while training the Taliban to use western weapons. Could you live with your tax money being used to finance a war.

@JudasPriestLiam BTW UK and USA are so desperate for hard cash I can see them trying to find a way to tax weed. But I think all governments have weed smokers who oppose the legalizing of drugs because they could not live with themselves if they knew what the extra tax money was going to be used for

Unfortunately the UK drug advisory lost out. They had advised the government to keep cannabis class C and to downgrade ecstasy but the government would rather drugs were sold by money hungry criminals.
