  • The Huey P. Long Bridge is located in Harahan/ Jefferson. This bridge is where I-10 crosses the Mighty Mississippi in Baton Rouge, which is rightfully named the Horace Wilkinson Bridge. This bridge connects Baton Rouge to Port Allen, which is where Community Coffee roasts their coffee beans. You may smell the sweet aroma while crossing this area.

  • Thank you for your useful comments. This bridge seemed so impressive that it was consistent for me with the name of HP Long, considering the visit of the state Capitol I had just before.

  • wat ferry is that

  • it is the ferry between St Francisvile and New Roads, La, not far from the Cajun I and II powerplants. The coal loaded barges you can see in Baton Rouge harbor are going upstream to these power plants.

  • u work on the river

  • No, I was just visiting ther, last November, from Paris, France
