  • Peculiar how they use gaelicised forms of English words - teacher and driver for professions. We have múinteoir and tiománaí..

  • I supose though these are new professions, if you know what i mean, whereas older professions like saor for joiner and sagart for priest.

  • Yeah. that's what I was thinking.. They are professions that would have been created 100's of years after Gaeilge went to Scotland.
