@mongoosethompson8 Are you kidding? They recorded an album together. Okkervil River knew their place when it became clear that they'd be playing with Roky. On the other hand they also don't have to be uptight stiffs in order to make you happy either.
I'm pretty sure you'd be having a blast too if you were Roky Ericsson's backing band. Chill out and cut them a break, man...

Best and earliest version of this song is at least on live bootleg "Long Branch Saloon 1976", one of the earliest Roky And The Aliens shows!!! This "new version" is bit lame, but Roky seems to be into it...I´m sure band did their best too!!! Aliens and Explosives just seem to work better for Roky, without trying too hard, it kinda came naturally for both of those of bands...
