In 2006 I went to this cooking school. It's set in a dedicated facility with individual cooking stations for each student. Had a fantastic time and at the end enjoyed a delicious meal that we prepared ourselves. The school's website is www.baipai.com
Maybe the changed the process. The Marriot in Pattaya also has an excellent cooking class too, but they precut all your ingredients (can be good or bad depending how you like it)... make sure to bring a really big appetite! :)

that was my 1st cooking school, all the ingredients were pre cut/prepared!
I guess they want to teach a full course and extra peparation time would make the class longer

I had a fantastic time! We really enjoyed the food as well. I've been to 3 or 4 cooking classes in Thailand now and have had a great time in all of them.
