Choi speaks about the political situation of the West African nation in its lead-up to the first Presidential elections in nearly a decade, and of the U.N. peacekeeping force there to assist. SRSG Choi assumed the position in fall 2007, Choi works to ensure that the Ivory Coast meets its three goals for peace: identification, disarmament and elections.
