  • Scholom Mintz and Isaac Stern two freaks of nature at the violin!

  • I know that this was long ago, but I'm very sorry about my vulgar comment. Uh, I was an ass back then for no reason. XD

  • @05EWalker1 ~ 300 years ago. :)

  • @Tgedz98 That's the sistem for all the concertos.

  • I dont know if anyone else thinks this but ive noticed that a lot of telemans and vivaldis music for violins (with 3 movements) goes: allegro/presto (simple time), largo(getto) (simple/compound time), Allegro/presto (compound time)

  • I am soooo envious of the people that were actually at this performance played so superbly by such incredible players, if i were to live for just one day................

  • 6 people must have been born with no souls or ears

  • This is such a wonderful and superb piece. Just amazing!

  • Im so thankful I get to see Pinchas Zukerman all the time at the NAC!! And he looks better with white hair than he does with young black hair haha.

  • @neilsolaris I certainly agree with most of what you said. Shlomo's first big 4th violin solo did stick out to me. And as for playing the last passage Sul G, I think thats a signature move that he likes to do whenever can. I don't know if you've watched any of the videos of he playing the Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, but he does one of the last passages on the G string and it fits in perfectly there, since he is the soloist, but here its more about the group and stands out.

  • when I was in middle school our chamber orchestra played this...I was the 4th violin solo :)

  • Shut up, Katy Perry! I'm listening to Vivaldi.
