They had to cut back on a lot of scenes with Alan Rickman in because he was out acting Costner.
I mean seriously how did Kevin Reynolds not make Costner attempt doing an English accent.
Having said that i did like him in JFK.

Though Costner screws up quite a bit in this movie, I also thought Christian Slater really seemed out of character with the greatly remembered (yet horrible) quote: ''Fuck me, He cleared it!'' The use of the word ''Fuck'' is my problem with it. Not because it's profanity, but because it seems a bit ahead of it's time.

Wow, that must be a different version to the one i have seen because the version i have seen he says "Blimey... he cleared it"

You must have the censored version then. If you look in the Related videos tab you should see a ROBIN HOOD: PRINCE OF THIVES (13 OF 15) video. In that video at 7:27 He says ''Fuck Me, He cleared it!''
