this is a great style if you've gained weight lol

@missdeckchair @Octomundunchkin I agree. I think any "natural" skin color should do!
I have really fair skin, but when I imagine someone with a darker skin, dressed as a mori girl in the middle of the forest, it looks so beautiful.
(Sorry for my bad English!)

I think it's fair enough to celebrate fair skin, if you have it. But I don't believe it should be part of the archetype of mori-girl. Darker skinned girls like me should also feel free to participate in this style.
Nonetheless, this is a really beautiful video! :)

well they mention the fair skin because the the girl basis behind Mori style is...
well.. Fair skin, Bangless with wavy free flowy long blond hair.
or so I've heard.. Sort of like the girl Magu from Honey and clover.
and I think they also mentioned it because it is apart of it like how being tan is part of some styles?
I am happy about it.. tired of seeing "oh tan skin!" such a big thing. Never thought being fair skin would be sort of shunned. (from my own experience)

Lovely! Except for the part about fair skin. I don't see why that should be a factor in Mori style. People of all skin colours can look beautiful in Mori and Natural Kei!

I love this style, I love fair skin.
I think the thing with the fair skin is that.. fair skin is celebrated and wanted in Japan, and only specific styles want tanning. If you go to Japan, you find lots of whitening products and masks to make skin fair. I don't think the skin thing was directed at people who are ethnic, but rather what the Japanese girls hold themselves to.
