    Thanks, Ed. No indication except "wire." This doesn't look like a wire-articulated model to me. The joints stay in the same place very accurately. I'm still thinking maybe one of these: goog "artist mannequin."

    Just out of curiosity, his articulation reminds me of a model I built a long time ago. Was he constructed over one of those articulated, wooden artist mannequins? Nice work.
