My favorite charity is a UK based charity called Stepping Stones Nigeria with passion for defending and upholding the rights of child in the Niger delta region of Nigeria in west Africa, which happens to be where am from. They rescue and cater to children who are being mistreated because of ignorance and lack of education like I call it. I love this charity because They saves and transforms the lives of vulnerable and stigmatised children; and provide them a safe haven from ignorant individual

My favorite charity that I support regularly is Voice of the Martyrs Bibles Unbound. It is a program that helps provide bibles in the native languages of countries where having bibles is against the law. I believe that everyone should have a choice to believe what they want without the risk of being put to death or imprisoned for their faith.

as a treatment for cancer, or suffer from any number of skin disorders that cause permanent hair loss. I love the fact that this organization gives back to those that aren't financially able to afford wigs & that people can donate their locks in order to make someone's elses life a little more happier. I have 2 best friends that introduced Locks of Love to me in college & they are still donors to the charity. (cont.)

My favorite charity is Locks of Love hair donation. Most people do not realize how valuable hair is until it is lost.I did not realize the materialistic attachment of hair until mine was burnt off a while ago. My esteem plummeted and I felt ugly. Growing up I had a friend with alopecia and she felt like an outcast. School seemed unbearable for her and I did not know her pain. Once she received a wig she was felt more normal and did not mind the stares because she felt pretty again.

My favorite charity is the Ronald McDonald House.When I was in college,my organization would clean the RM House for families;greet and meet with them.It takes incredible courage to be a parent of a child battling a terminal illness.Many times these families weren't from the area, so the RM House allowed them to stay there while their child was hospitalized. Being able to help by just cleaning before their arrival,and giving the families an encouraging word was just a small way of giving back.

This charity gives people the chance to get back a piece of themselves that they thought was lost forever: hair. I admire the people who are strong enough to embrace having no hair but appreciate Locks of Love for wanting to help those who need that confidence to embark on life. Weave is a wonderful thing. It can build uplift the self-esteem of people by the inches.

I must say my favorite charity would have to be children's hospital. My younger brother was born premature and had to get a shaunt implanted in his head to help control the excess fluids in his brain and children's hospital has been and was always the go to place. Due to the previous doctor messing up on the initial procedure CH had to pretty much clean up their mess and have more surgeries after due to the seizures he suffered from. I feel as though I should attend this event because I need major help with my hair. I love networking and learning new things and techniques and i really do try to apply it to my daily living. I don't always attend networking events but when i do, i take everything that i learn and make something out of it. i mentioned before that i needed major help with my hair. I am going natural and I exercise a lot...*hint* *hint* i need a weave that will last me at least a little while w/o tangling. HELP!
