  • Could You store Raw meat and Cooked meat in the zip vac?

    Very Nice Video Steve!

  • @Trazor2k0 Yes but you would have to refrigerate or freeze it. It is just like the seal a meal just easier to use. Thanks for watching

  • Do you notice a difference in how effective both the manual and electric pump are?

  • @thehawk4231 The both work well the electric is a bit faster, but I would be happy if all they had was the pump

  • Good vid all in all. This is just my opinion. I have used zipvac. They do not hold a vacuum. I tried removing items but no avail. I invested in a Foodsaver Vac Sealer and wow. It works very well. Also I found a way to make black bags to keep light out. Use 3 or 4 mil heavy duty contractor clean up bags. you can make your own size and vac seal them. Good vid though.

  • @shilohtv There are quite a few places that sell them online like the ready store, camping survival, etc. The cheapest way to buy is bulk or cases. I haven't seen them down to $5 though except if you buy a whole year supply.

  • Food saver and Zip Loc both make these bags and they both leak. The air valve on these looks different. Think I ll try and find these and try them. Thanks.

  • @shilohtv local surplus, was a case of 12 for 80 bucks, about 6.50 each for mil spec MRE, gr8gear dot com is the seattle surplus store

  • @shouldibehere Thanks we will make sure to include that in the future

  • @shilohtv every military surplus store in the area. i normally pay 4 at gunshows. but i also have 3 major marine corps bases in a 40 miles radius
