  • @neckus22 Thanks for that info...she was a very very hot chick...sweet and stickey..."

  • 4 ppl. obviously never had a piece of that sweet sticky thing. lol

  • @thumbsaloft Co-sign!

  • Now I see why Diamond refuse to let Sugafoot perform. He barely saying anything and is motionless. I understand he's near 70 but damn sang!

  • @mrsmusiclover Diamond was on the ecstacy album and you can tell from his style. Also are you saying that Greg Webster, the original drummer is dead now, by stating that Sugar and Marshall are the only originals alive? Holla back sista (smile).

  • Is Marshall Jones playing with Sugar's version of the band? Jones is the unsung hero of Funk bass playing. A lot of cats are playing Marshall Jones and don't know it. Sugar was simply the coolest front man out there.

  • I just heard this spring about Sugar splitting off and forming his own version of the Ohio Players. I stumbled on the Skin Tight clip, and I must say that that was the tightest that I'd heard Skin Tight played live, because it was a problem even with the original line up. Sugar hit a lick with this move because the band sounds better than I've heard the Ohio Players in recent years, and they've got HORNS!!!!

  • This is "Sugarfoot's" Ohio Players. Diamond, Chet, Dortch and Beck are running the "franchise" Ohio Players. So there are two versions of the band running up and down the road. Just like the Coasters, Drifters, Platters, etc.

  • The motherfucking kings of funk. Honey is an awesome piece of work. Anyone who hasn't got this classic on vinyl needs to buy a deck and a copy off eBay quick. Vinyl is the only medium to listen to this on.

  • Honey is known for its very sexy cover photo. In this case, the model was Playboy magazine's October 1974 Playmate of the Month, Ester Cordet.

urban legend surrounded the song "Love Rollercoaster" that the girl on the album cover was attacked or killed near the studio and her screams are what we hear on the song. Like the controversy surrounding Paul McCartney's supposed death, this was a hoax; the scream was actually that of keyboardist Billy Beck
