Gauge 00 train setup of the Miniature Table Railway (in German: "Tischbahn"), produced by Bing during 1922-32. With a 16.5mm wide track and half the size of the common 0 gauge railways of that time, it is the ancestor of all modern H0 gauge model railways.
All shown material was manufactured by Bing except for the automobiles (Karl Bub), figures, trees, and the wooden signal house.
Music from the film "Ein blonder Traum" (1932), sung by Lilian Harvey.
Danke, danke. Es ist sehr wunderbar. And the music ain't bad, either. Thanks for bringing us another treasure.

This was a tremendous innovation for Bing. I had one of these twenty years ago, but never got it running. Thanks for showing how it works.
