Godsmack - I stand Alone
LeBron James heard the boo's throughout 'The Theatre' at Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York during David Sterns announcement of Cleveland Caveliers 1st round 1st pick in the 2003 NBA Draft. Ever since then he has taken the NBA by storm exceeding the expectations of fans and players alike.
Labeled by many as the best draft class of this era 2003 has already produced 6 All Star selections from the first round (LeBron James - 1st, Carmelo Anthony - 3rd, Dwyane Wade - 5th, Chris Bosh - 4th, David West - 18th, and Josh Howard - 29th), and many notable players respected throughout the league. LeBron has proven himself to be among the best not only when looking at his draft class but looking throughout the NBA. When looking at overall careers Tim Duncan, Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, etc...have all had better careers. But of all the players in the NBA (Past & Present) LeBron may have already done more with less than anyone who has ever played basketball at the professional level. At just 23 years old LeBron has already compiled an impressive list of achievements including 3 time "Mr Basketball" in the state of Ohio, NBA Rookie of The Year 2003/04, FIBA Gold Medal 2007, 4 time All NBA (2-1st, 2-2nd...Assuming another first this season), 2x All Star MVP in 4 appearences, A scoring title, and in 2007 became the only man to single handedly carry his team to the NBA Finals after knocking off the 5 consecutive ECF appearence powerhouse Detroit Pistons in 6 games comming back to finish the job after starting the series down 2 games. Games 5 of that series is considered by many to be one of if not the greatest single post season performance in the history in the league. LeBron recorded a franchise-record 48 points on 54.5% field goal shooting, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. In addition, James scored 29 of Cleveland's last 30 points, including the team's final 25 points in a double-overtime victory. LeBron went on to lose the NBA Finals to the Tim Duncan / Tony Parker led San Antonio Spurs, but Im sure very few teams have forgotten what LeBron is capable of when given even the slightest window of opportunity.
Still early in his career I think LeBron has already shown that when the day comes for him to hang up his jersey it will undoubtedly hang with the same respect given to past greats before him...Wether you are a fan of LeBron or not, dont make the same mistake I did with Michael Jordan. For years I hated everything Michael did. All of my friends growing up were "Jordan Lovers", and that made me hate the guy even more. I watched MANY of Jordans games just for the chance to see him fail and about 10/12 years ago I finally started to realize what I was missing out on all that time. Dont miss out on possibly one of the greatest careers you will ever see unfold right before your eyes.
This league is about so much more then Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. Who cares which one you might like better, or who scored 50 last week...ITS BEEN DONE BEFORE! LeBron and Kobe respect eachother on the floor so why are their fans disrespecting them and eachother outside the domain of the NBA?
its sad he's ben in the nba for 5 years and got a shit team still ya ya he got to the finals in 07 but got sweeped

Yeah he got swept but it was by a FAR better team and like you said LeBron was on a shit team. I think L:eBron has done as much as he can possibly do with that team. Its time for him to demand a trade either sending him out or bringing others in.
