I have one and the donuts taste like oil filled sponges. I tried everything, followed directions exactly, tried different batters and still either get oily onion ring looking things or dough blobs. I'll stick it down the basement and dump it off at a yard sale this summer. It looked like a cool thing to have but it needs engineering modifications.

pittysmom, I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I read your comment. I was thinking the same thing listening to it. I don't think I'd be standing to close...you might end up with a donut hole somewhere you don't want one.
