How to Mock Up a Website in Photoshop

A recording of the steps I took to mock up my site in Photoshop. It goes a bit fast, so if you don't know how to use the tools in Photoshop already, this won't be particularly helpful. My design skills are a continuing work in progress, but regardless of end result, I have damned good workflow.

The original intention was to make a website as simple as possible for my portfolio page, which was no easy task considering how much I wanted to showcase.

I have no idea why people put up videos like this on youtube, especially when titling it "how to". It' just self ejaculation of showing off, without any value whatsoever to the viewer, along with absolutely no instruction, coupled with annoying music. I'm sure the likes that you got from this video were from people that liked the music and had nothing to do with the "instructional video".

@thebulfrog thank you. Yeah, I understand it's just frustrating when your "how to" video is the top searched item and it's a time lapse video.

I decided to try and beef up my portfolio. In the past I've done a few templates for clients, which took all of a few hours here and there after meeting them for progress reports. I now have a client who looked at my schedule of fees and wants a custom website, so i tried just doing a CNN like website, now i see why ppl charge $2,500.
