Thank you so much; Kate was very special to me and my entire family.

We have adopted a new friend for Loni but every time she glimpses a red dog she looks so eager and then she sees it is not her Kate and pouts all over again.

Absolutely beautiful my friend. I'm sure Loni will always remember her Momma Kate, her teacher, her guardian, but most of all her bestest friend.

Loni seems a bit more up the last few days but she looks for Kate.

I've been spending lots of time at the nursing home due to family circumstances but Steve has been taking her for multiple long walks a day.

She is still terrified of men she doesn't know but seems to love other dogs.

When Kate was with her she didn't mind men's attention as much I believe because she felt protected!lol

I know what you mean my friend. Still tears for me too. We never forget them, never. It hurts me to when people hate the different breeds. It absolutely kills me when I hear, it's only a dog, they have no souls. that one just tears me up. I wrote you a pm, I know your totally busy, but I hope you get a chance to read. My first attempt made a few typos and didn't have music for the beginning pictures...but my music part was giving me problems on moviemaker and if I had audioswapped once I upoaded here it would of covered my naration at the end which was important for the remembrance.lol

Lots of tears still but I feel remarkably fortunate to have homed such an extraordinary little soul for almost 14 years.She loved everyone animals humans...her mother took care of orphaned or abandoned livestock; was a working farm dog ubtill her death last spring!

This is why it hurts my heart that there is such hatred of any breed...kates mom was a papered a.d.b.a. A.P.B.T. dad was a cross of A.P.B.T. and German Pinscher
