@Tuespetruss Good job defending this doctrine that has no foundation in Scripture and that has split Orthodoxy assunder. Humanae Vitae, PaulVI, from God? Nahh... Just one example. Primacy of the See of Rome? A western myth.Peter first pope? No, James the brother of the Lord in Jerusalem. Read your Bible (Acts). And even James did not claim Primacy, it was Constantine who screwed it all up. And the battle goes on because almost no one in the western church studies church history. PAX.

We Evangelicals have thrown out The Baby with the bath water, and are too proud to admit it and have no leaders bold enough to admit it and lead us back. The Kyrie is one of the most ancient hymns we Christians have. It has nada to do with Rome. This is one rendition, there are others. Shame on us sheeple for being so blindly lead. Kyrie Eleison!

@Gunnarr123abc Certainly many who are reading this have had experiences where God made something very clear to them through the Grace of the Holy Spirit. How much more would He want to do that for someone who has been trusted to lead and influence millions of Christians.

@Gunnarr123abc Christ promised to guide and protect his Church and to send the Holy Spirit to lead it into all truth. (Mat 16:18-19, 18:18, 28:20; Jn 14:16, 25, 16:13). The Holy Spirit guided the Church when it decided which books were to be included in the Bible. That was an infallible decision. Praise God!

@Gunnarr123abc Some Evangelicals wonder how this mystery and miracle of infallibility could be possible. How can a defectible human, under some conditions, speak infallibly? We have to ask ourselves "is Jesus capable of protecting his flock in this way?" The answer is that Jesus can do anything.

@Gunnarr123abc A Pope only exercises infallibility on rare occasions - a handful of times in history. Here are the conditions:
The pope must speak ex cathedra (from the Chair of Peter) in his official capacity.
The decision must be binding on the whole Church.
It must be on a matter of faith or morals.
He must be intending to teach.
