Johnny Cash - Hurt

Trent Reznor (of NIN) wrote this song in 1994, almost a decade before Cash covered the song on a COVER ALBUM (which included songs like depeche mode's personal jesus).

You shouldn't lie to people. The fact is that this is a fucking moving cover and in my opinion it is the best cover of all-time along with Jeff Buckley's 'Hallelujah' cover.

I prefer the NIN version of this song but love both. Regardless, NIN wrote it and you should learn the facts before you talk shite.

Only someone that knows the 90's music can truly understand the signicance of this song. We know the older stuff, but this ties him to our generation. RIP
