I feel the same way as far as respecting our race &I too want to marry a strong beautiful black man, but I get tired of waiting. Seeing black men make a fool of themselves and being ok with it, others don't want a black women, on the DL, in prison, or dead is dscouraging to me & I could see how some could loose faith or get tired. And the problem is getting worst. We as a people need to do a makeover to improve our image, but slavery really did a number on us and some are permanently damaged.

Some people(black) get aggravated with the way alot of black people carry themselves. To add fuel to the fire look at the way we are portrayed to the public. On the news they find the most homeless looking person to interview. Rappers w/pants down, etc. It WOULD seem as though the better of us are surpasses by "hood" and "ghetto-ness".
