Widgets Tutorial - Dragonpme

For those pc users who have never sen a mac run, heres your chance to see what the origonal 'gadgets' work in tearms of install and uninstall. this tutorial is aimed at pc users, but if your new to mac, and want to know more about how widgets work, your more than welcome to have a look!

Just curious how u can up with the name Dragonpme?

i kind of thieved it from my friend.. many many years ago, he thaught up of ?Dragon KCH .. the 3 letters after the name is my real name..

PMe.. first letter of my 1st name and 2 letters from my second name.. thus i have PME... Dragon is becaus ei was born in the year of the dragon acording to the chineese callander.. thus some one could be... RabbitRbi! :D or Horsetol! etc.. just happens Dragonpme sounds funky. :D

go to dashboard and click on the + sign. Click manage widgets. A menu will pop up. Next to the widget you want to delete, there should be a red circle. Click it & it will send it to the trash (I have Leopard so i don't know if that makes a difference)

how can u delete a widget completely from the computer, as in uninstall it, i dont wana c it in the (+) sign menu, if anyone knows plz help

indeed i do agree.. some widgets can belong on the desktop.. but i think apple made the right choice in making a seperate desktop for widgets.. look at leopard for example.. i used to use what space for icons and things.. i mean just look at my desktop.. its a mess!! space on the desktop is valuable to me. :) but every user is different .:)

I know exactly what you mean we do not exactly want to clog up our desktop... but I think there are widgets approbate to stay on the desktop... and have you seen the WebClip feature in Leopard? That would make it even more useful.

was that not a pc ? seems abit pointless if u ask me.. we want desktop space for other things.. and widget space for widgets :D :P .. if its possible i would like to know..

I saw some people on youtube who just drag the widget from the dashboard to the desktop... sorry don't remember which video but I was wondering if you know how to do so?
