  • Yes. I use the Beachtek on the HV20 fulltime. Much better than direct mic connect

  • What model is ur Beachtek? And does it matter what model it is? Im new to mixers, got a rode mic and hv20 but it gives a hiss. So selling it and buying a M66 and Beachtek

  • how do you use that mike on the canon. the mike is really big. I almost poked my eye out.

  • and the YouTube sound has also something to do with it

  • Nope - no way. This is BAD audio simply due to microphone placement. The ME66 is an extremely sensitive microphone. I bet the Me66 is too far away from the subject to do it justice.

  • It's all there and it's clean! Though it's usually considered an ENG mic (it's expensive brother, MKH-416, is Sennheiser's 'rich' sounding movie mic) I bet it could be 'modelled' nicely with software, thus saving big bucks?!? What do you think zephyrnoid??? (by the way...thanks for these tests!)

  • I JUST got an HV20 and wanted to use ME66 on it - I guess I should get a beachtek. Do you dig it?
