Hey, at least he got to talk to someone in the same continent. When I phoned BT to do the same thing, I couldn't even understand what the poor guy was saying through his accent.
i am 19 & recently working as a customer representative at AOL in one of the contact cnters based here in the Philippines.Watching this, it is really freaking annoying. It is rily a gud thing that AOL made major changes in rgards w/ call flow. It was a yr ago since this incident hppened & AOL learned a lot from this call. I am looking forward for more changes from the company.
This is why AOL is still the main ISP in America. Those ppl on the other end of the line are trained and asked to rouse the customer, harass the customer until he/she gives up. GODDAMN AOL
I know his pain but it took me 45 MINUTES TO CANCEL! The main problem was they were so committed to swindle some more money out of me that they ignorantly kept me on hold for 12 minutes. Feking assholes!
