In Katanga they have diamonds. Here in Lomako, we have bonobos. Those are the words of a prominent member of a family that has lived in the Lomako Forest in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for generations, remaining during periods of grave upheaval and dedicated always to the protection of the rare bonobo. Have a look at the Centre and the complementary microenterprise work that is bringing economic benefit to the people living in the region.
