  • I could cry! I live near Misquamicut and missed this? Check out Chad and Jeremy on the old Dick Van Dyke show as The Redcoats. Its hilarious! They look and sound great on this video.

  • Do you have that video? Or did you see it on TV?

  • I was so priviledged to watch these guys in Chicago last year. Something I will never forget. It was a very small intimate crowd in one of the bars in Evanston, IL. They were superb, you can easily get caught in the moment. You will get easily mesmerized by the melody of their music. They look great and their music is as crisp as ever. I would love to see them again in the same setting. Quiet, intimate, small. Just simply simply love them. Melody perfect.

  • I was there with a few thousand other people. The MMF is a cool event. Always fun...

  • I saw it on TV in the 60s and in re-runs today. TV Land used to run the old shows but I don't think its currently running. I found this bit of information regarding that episode, see end of this post. If you can catch it, by all means do. Its really funny and C&J are terrific. In fact, I think Jeremy Clyde went on to an acting career post-60s.

On The Dick Van Dyke Show on 10 February 1965, episode 113, C & J played a British pop duo called The Redcoats. They sang the song No Other Baby

  • These guys in their prime we'er the main influance for the beatles they only played to upperclass audiances and were very well educated in jazz as well

  • Perhaps one of the greatest love songs ever written, comparing the passing beauty of summer with summer love, and memories, which unlike the summer, last forever.

  • They are as incredible as ever. A magical harmony

  • Thanks for sharing! "Of Cabbages and Kings" is one of my favorite albums and still gets played regularly!

  • My first album.I saved up all summer for it.

    I was 7 yrs old

    thanks for the video

  • Every time I hear this and other recent C+J songs, it amazes me how these two wonderful singers kept their harmonies intact. Unlike P+G, C+J never catered to the bubble-gum rock sound, but experimented in esoteric vocals and music phrasing, keeping primarily to an easy folk-rock genre ... much unlike other British Invasion duos/groups. That C+J sound so great even today, makes my heart fly!

  • Sadly,so true.
