This COULD be a good UI, if you hid all of the abilities that you (SHOULD) have keybound, and made more space. I have quite a large monitor as well, and I can tell you that having the extra space doesn't warrant wasting any of it. If you could get rid of about half of that gigantic, ugly bar, then this would be a lot more doable.
