This is the beginning of THE GREATEST SKATE VIDEO OF ALL TIME. I assure you. ok, maybe no.
Actually, I kind of hate skaters, and skate culture, in general. But it seems like i'm always making friends with these angry youths. Back in college the three gentlemen in this video came by my (shared) apartment all the time. And watched the same 3 or 4 goddamned skate videos over and over and over and over. commenting about "dude that was so sick" and "oh mannnn" and such. So one day I challenged them to let me shoot a skate video that showed off their "abilities."
This brief intro is really the best of it. As I recall, they never actually completed A SINGLE TRICK (that day). they were really ... "rolling". HO HOOOOOoooOOoooo. I never got around to recording due to ... whatever. Probably roommates moving out or some such.
Anywho. My pal Alan from BravadoEnt recently transferred some of my old SVHS tapes to digital. So I'm uploading this because it'll never be properly fleshed out. And to see how it looks (if I should bother to clean up color/levels/glitches).
Plus, the concept still makes me chuckle. Thus : it is perfect for youtube?
...
my god, i've typed too much.
Why'd you never show me this?! Funny! You're holding a skateboard. Something I never thought I'd see. We should flesh this out with me skating now. I can at least complete one or two simple tricks. A 50-50 grind, board slide or olie at least.

Heh. I don't think i ever showed this to ANYONE. cept maybe alan, late some night. If you want to roll with it, please be my guest.
I will meditate on ways to make a skate video with very little skateboarding. (and how to tackle the apparent "smoking"? and the complete change in cast?). hmmm. we should discuss in person, in detail. if you are for serioussssss
