islam is the same religion throughout th world. Islam believe in the same 1 god, Allah as was shared by our god's prophets before this, namely: Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Jacob, Zacharais, Solomon, Jesus etc (peace be upon them)...& prophet Muhammad being the last prophet for mankind till doomsday.
The teaching of islam was revealed (via Quran) to Muhammad (pbuh) over a 23 year period. It was right away memorized intact from that time on till now (>1400 years) without any modifition whatsoever.
