I also saw one of those subliminal messages in the following episode, the horror one. It's a man (or woman, can just see hands) making pottery. I saw the flash and it took me ages to rewind and pause it at the right moment to see what it is.

@Zeamus634 yeah is a skiier they did that because people were starting to think subliminal messages like that were bad and what not, so The Young Ones basically took the piss out of it.

Anyway, best scene of possibly any sitcom ever
