this was the old sky whirl at Great America Theme park in Santa Clara California in the Bay Area . thats where most of wonder world was filmed at . i actually rode this ride in the early 90s .

Yeah, Sky Whirl/Triple Wheel is a great family ride. And this right here is a huge negative impact on it. It's like a message to the park visitors saying "Stay off of this ride, or this will happen to you!" 3 years later, Sky Whirl/Triple Wheel was taken down, maybe due to drop in ridership because of this. Scared the park visitors from riding Sky Whirl/Triple Wheel after watching BHC3.

this is why they removed this ride from the park...bad publicity. @0.30..now, don't you think someone would have at least attempted to catch this person falling!? Geeez, some people are sooo rude...only think of themselves..selfish bastards!
