It's not only the Bush Administration deregulating the oil industry, it's because BP is SO stinking cheap that they can't afford to spend a few million dollars for better equipment when they made billions on top of billions in net profits. BP should be put out of business.

Dick Cheney and the CEO's of Halliburton, Transocean, and BP MUST all be carefully protected in advance of their respective fair trials. I suggest not only police protection for these men, but also Secret Service, and perhaps even active-duty military protection for these honorable men.
I have heard reports of VERY large armies of dolphins, organizing specifically to gangrape these men in a VERY passionate and violent manner.
