Yeah I find this also first time I listen to it on a clean copy its really the same riff but thats ok for me ;-)

yeah, the little riff sounds a lot like where is my mind. but hey, nirvana sounded like the pixies at times too. no shame in ripping the pixies. interpol r cool.

the guitar in spots kind of reminds me of the pixies - where is my mind, if you listen closely there is some resemblance to the sound, that's all, both are great, but Interpol is my fav.

like when the drummer keeps pounding the cymabls at the end of the song here, he should have done that in the studio album

This was the favourite song of a friend of mine, someone who first introduced me to Interpol. She took her own life back in December '09, and I can't hear this without thinking of her.
I am forever in her debt......
