Holy S#!%! Toroweap View, Grand Canyon. Better than Sky walk

The view from Toroweap. The cliff looks right-down onto the river. (some 2-3000 ft. straight down!) Don't waste your money on the "Sky Walk"!(of course, there IS that 3-4 hours of dirt roads to get there! The journey IS half-the-fun; if you have a capable off-road vehicle, I recommend it!)

Toroweap in on the North Rim, at the west end of the canyon. You can get there by way of 2 long-ass dirt roads, from either St.George, Utah; or Colorado City, Arizona! Figure on 3-4 hours of dirt, each way! Worth it, though!

@JohnWesleyPowell You are 200% right any place in the Grand Canyon is better that the skywalk.

The skywalk is a rip-off. It is expensif to get into the park and you can't take any pictures when you are on the skywalk.

The indian show is as bad as it can be.

I have been there many times and each time I get butterfies in my stomach. First time there, I crawled up to the edge. Way big vertigo going on. It's a beautiful, wonderful place on this earth.  So untouched by humans. The skywalk I cannot imagine paying those types of fees and not getting any better view. Yes the canyon is beautiful from any place in it, but better, when it is free and open.
