Read the blog here: http://learnautobodyandpaint.com/live-demo-high-speed-buffers-car-buffer-car-... This video we talk about a few types of buffers including the trigger style variable speed buffer. The dial variable speed buffer is the most recommended buffer because of ease of operation.

The most popular buffers are (in no specific order)... Makita, DeWalt, Hitachi, Black& Decker, Milwaukee, Porter Cable etc...

When buffing a car the velcro style adapters are nice to have, again because of ease of use. Just switch pads and you're good to go!

  • ATD makes a great variable speed buffer for a mid-range price. its one of the cheapest rotary buffers at around 50-70$. it is based on an old makita design i believe, or some other popular design. doesnt have soft start or all the advanced features, but who cares! at $70 its a bargain. better if its cheaper! best deal around i think. alot of the cheaper rotaries i see are all 1 or 2 speed. skip the DA buffers they're only good for factory new car paint or really good paint with no problems...

  • very interesting

  • Great orientation on buffers. Good to know info.
