  • I'm only 16 but this song is simply crazy. I must be mad!

  • I totally agree! I bought the 12" LP when it came out. We used to blast it with my McIntosh tube amp and Magnepan Tympani speakers until the windows fell out!

  • Joe Samples Rhodes playing is what drives the groove on this song. An all time classic smooth jazz tune.

  • @ThugTye;

    "ricky" and the like are a drunks looking for a fight -- ignore'm.

    Good on you for not judging music by how new it is.

    This was an EXTREMELY hot fusion hit at a time when fusion was struggling to get into the main stream.

    Emerging artistic movements can be extremely exciting. Keep an interest in them through your entire life and pass that interest on to your loved ones.

    Try Dada, '30's-'40's jazz, '50's-'60's R'n'R, '70's fusion & Prog Rock, new wave, OG Rap.

    peace love

  • @rickylascaze001 It's your opinion , but i have the top comment , so i don't think people don't give a shit ;)

  • @ThugTye It's not that serious you're acting like every adult thinks all kids listen to that type of music, and even if you do so what? You can listen to good music at any age any generation nobody gives a shit when you put "I'm 16".

  • @rickylascaze001 Because a part of the young generation want to show that they have good taste in music! We don't all listen to Lady Gaga or Justin Bieber's sh*t . I'm a true real hip hop fan , but old soul,funk and jazz music is the real deal!

  • I don't understand why every kid has to put "I'm only 16" on every song on youtube. Who gives a shit? Do you want a cookie? You can listen to good music at any age.

  • @ThugTye B.U.D., good music like good teachings recognize NO race, gender or AGE. it's good that you like the music. just concentrate on that & ignore the rest.

  • This song was part of the new day of funky sax playing. It represents the epitomy of the jazz/soul/rock fusion era. Miles had just run the voodo down and Grover was being magic. Ronnie Laws, the younger brother of established jazz floutist, Hubert Laws came on the scene with this one blazin' it up. This song also enjoyed some limited commercial popularity.

  • My friend Al had it on 8 track...loud.

  • Great....
