Gears of War 3 Review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Gears of War 3 for the Xbox 360. Released in 2011, this game was developed by Epic and published by Microsoft. This is it, the finale of Marcus Fenix's journey to save Sera. The game features an amazing campaign and a much improved horde mode. While the gameplay might not drastically change what was established in the first two games, it's still a blast. This CGRundertow review features gameplay and commentary from CGR's Gabe.

All the footage of campaign is from act 1. If you are going to do a review, you should at least how some more levels.

@Leont64 That's Dom, and you can play as him. You can play as him in the campaign if your playing co-op, and you can play as him in horde and competitive multiplayer.

i'd give this game a rent, the 2nd gears took me 15 hours to beat, this one took me a lil over 9. I think out of the whole game there were only 3 boss battles, and you really only get to ride in a vehicle twice. However the level design is the star of this gears, every location is interesting and the storyline isn't half bad considering your not searching for Doms wife half the game.

this is probably my fav gears, i actually cared about the campaign in this one, multiplayer is ok( everyone uses shotguns) horde mode is better than 2, and beast mode is a lot of fun

Design of this game seems rooted in the 90s, feels very old. And why do these supposed supersoldiers move like they're wading through treacle?
