I am a 26 year old father from new york with a 3 year old son and a wife that I love more than life. THANK YOU SIR FOR FIGHTING FOR MY FREEDOM. The bravery of men like you allow men like me to live free. Much respect

This made me sad. Looked like a bunch of very young boys trying hard to look "manly" for the camera. When you are 19, what do you know of life? That's why they can get you to go risk your life so easily. We all believed that guns and packs made a man. What fools we were.

@TheMorrisseyMan Where have I stated blink patriotism? I agree with you on that matter, but usually the poor soldier is left with blind patriotism or what is your solution? Unfortunately, we cannot have soldier who "step back on every situation and decide or think about who is right." Just wanted to get that off my chest. Given I fought against someone who fought for their country, but I respect them for doing so.

i like america, but not the government. and u have every right to honour ur men and friends u have lost in any war no matter who started it but all im saying is that i just hate blind patriotism. no matter who it is. yeah u have a right to be loyal to ur country. but u also have a right to step back and think twice about things. just wanted to get that off my chest

@kristaf811 bollocks u think vietnam wud have invaded usa or something?? rofl u americans are blinded by patriotism to a country that has killed its own peple more than any enemy. only reason why usa was in vietnam was because of USA. gulf of tonkin incident was the reason. same shit happened at pearl harbour. and honestly, it wouldnt surprise me if the USA brought down those twin towers in 2001. (go on attack me people, but loom at how those towers came down.both came down perfectly?inside job)
@WolfieRed1 I had a cousin serve in Vietnam in 1966-1967 He served combat missions near landing Zone Liz . On June 15, 1967 he and 10 fellow American soldiers were killed by a 200lb road side bomb in a truck convoy. Him and his fellow soldiers bodys were missing for weeks and finally were rcovered to only get the report he was KIA... Im not here for attention but only to share factual info that actually happened in your area of Operations, which was Quang Ngai district.

@TheUSMCDevilPup Semper Fi! I have buddies that served there in 1967, I will ask them if they remember this event. They are Army, was your cousin Army? I checked the wall and see their names. Sorry for you family's loss. There are videos I posted for the buddies mentioned above that 1967 around Liz. If my buddies knew the guys that were lost I will get back with you. Thanks for posting.
