@wolfsbro2 Crisp is a better fielder.

Thats Cleveland for you, horrible General managers.

Yes I remember him with the Tribe. He was in the same outfield with Milton Bradley for a couple of years. You guys did get Shoppach a good catcher and Andy Marte in the deal. Not to rub it in but it really must suck for Tribe fans to see Sabathia and Lee, two back to back Cy Young award winner with you guys starting the World Series for two other teams. Even worse that one of them is on the stinking Yankees. Ouch!!! Don't trade good pitching.

ya you think you miss him... he was in cleveland before Boston

another heartbreak for cleveland. then again you guys bought half our team. oh well, GO TRIBE!

God I still love watching this 2 years after it happened. This game was awesome.

Yes he is. And he will be better all around then Coco. But we are talking defense only, and Coco was the best defensive center fielder they have had in my lifetime.
I'm in my early fifties now and have been following the Sox since 65. Coco Crisp is the best defensive center fielder they ever had. Better then Reggie Smith, better then Fred Lynn, better then Ellis Burks,Better then Darren Lewis and way better then Johnny Damon. Most of those other guys with the exception of Lewis were better offensively then Coco but nobody played center field better then Coco. I miss him and so do the Sox but Ramon Ramirez was a good bullpen pickup.

Ummm...Jay? Did you stop watching the Red Sox after 2007? Their current centerfielder is named Jaoby Ellsbury, and he is better than Crisp defensively.

Got them on craigslist 3 hours before first pitch. Section 17, $250 each. That's an easy steal like Jacoby Ellsbury stealing 2nd base my friend. I was banging down CL all day long while the Patriots were playing. Responded to a lot of b.s. posts, gave up about 20 times but came back 21. Finally found "the one" at about 5:15PM. Best part: he delivered them right to the door 15 minutes after I called. It was like getting a freakin pizza! Awesome!
