My first Merlin vid and most likely not my last considering how great the show is! XD

Anyway, this video is about how Merlin lies to Arthur so much to save himself and get close to Arthur, even if he doesn't like it. Perfect right? I know! I've been waiting to do a vid to this song ever since I heard it on the radio a couple of months ago, I LOVE it. So I hope you'll love it too! After all, this vid is all about the song.

As for the pairing well..... this could be either seen as a friendship or slash vid, it's up to you. I personally see a little of both but how can you not with these two!? lol

Right. Now for a little news, I might be tempting fate a little here but I have FINALLY made a backup account under the name of 'aTPOMproduction' (since someone had already taken all the better version *grumbles*). Hey, that was brilliant editing and the song really fit very well. It casts Merlin in a bit of a less humorous light than the show does.

I like how your vid elaborates the finer shades of the conflict between Merlin and Arthur - and also the development Arthur undergoes throughout the series.

My God ! It's really excellent. I mean, all the editing is perfect and you matched the clips choice so well to the lyrics and music ! Plus that song is so entertaining. @Shinayano Yeah, either that or they'll make it really quiet and undramatic, because the expectations are too much to live up to.

@QueenMegaera Yes, that's true. Merlin sort of stumbles into that cycle of lies that he can't break out of - and even when he knows he can trust Arthur, how can he ever tell him? It's heartwrenching to think about q.q

I really wonder if he will ever tell Arthur. And I guess it would almost be better not to see it. I suppose the series is in mayor danger of ruining that moment we've been waiting for so long... hehe

The song really puts the spotlight on something thats often almost overlooked in the show. I often wonder, when Arthur eventually finds out (which I'm beginning to think wont be until the end of series five) if the hard part to swallow actually won't be the magic but the fact that Merlin's been lying to him for YEARS.
