Matt Kohut, Lenovo Competitive Analyst, explains how Lenovo's streamlined ThinkPad notebook with a bold new look, the ThinkPad Edge, stands against its appropriate competition.
@DJFG85 Actually, IBM never owned Lenovo. Lenovo bought the part of IBM targeted at making laptops back in 2004 and they had the right to use the IBM brand until 2010.
i personally dont mind that lenovo owns thinkpad now... they are still great laptops and i love the new thinkpad edge. ive been using thinkpads since my first laptop and i have never been disappointed by them. along with msi, they are the only computer manufacture that i prefer.
I'm a thinkpad user since 1992, I wish that Lenovo indicate 100% compatible models with Linux, since many users like me, use these computers with Linux and installing Linux on dozens of servers that IBM / Lenovo sells in the world .
@dani1723b I have mine now. Here, in Canada, it was not possible. Erase Windows is the first thing I did. :-)
