Please see previous video. Now using thick wire of few turns wound as toroid on soft iron washer. Effect is more pronounced but distance between magnets must be observed. If this principle is to be used in a motor design, fewer turns in the toroid coil will result in less CEMF being induced into the toroid from the magnets on the rotor.

  • Very interesting effect, would take a bit of fine tuning to get it rotating - might be an energy increase there compared to the usual steorn arrangement.
