Flying my scratch-built Dead-Simple wing (30-inch wingspan instead of the original 24) at Ives Estates Park in Miami, Florida.

for more info visit my website at http://www.maydayrc.com

Built from specs given on RCgroups.com (http://bit.ly/rtN3Gu) by user forlack. I scaled all the measurements up 125% to get a 30-inch wingspan. Built it using DOW blue Styrofoam instead of Depron/Foamboard. There are two carbon fiber rods on top 2 inches back along the leading edges.

This wing has a symmetrical airfoil and a thickness of 1/2-inch. The vertical stabs at the wingtips are made from foamboard with the paper faces removed.

Motor: hexTronik 24gram Brushless Outrunner 1700kv
ESC: Turnigy Plush 18A
Servos: HK15178 analog 10g
Battery: GravityHobby 800mAh 3S 20C LiPo
