@andrehendrik Iron Maiden has one of the best band managers ever.....the other bands had friends and family as managers....THERE....is the difference. DiAnno was great for the first 2....but he was a punker at heart, and wasn't into the metal scene as much as the others, ...... to evolve into Steve's vision of the band and to keep up with their growing abilities ....Bruce was the PERFECT score... I love their new music...at least as much as the first Bruce era

@WrathchildNH I agree but if you look at how successful Maiden is in terms of world tours, then you can't really say they had bad management. My favorite album is Killers because I like the rawness of D'ianno's voice . . . but in terms of building a long life for the band they made the right call by going with Dickinson and making their sound more polished/less punk

Iron Maiden is my favorite band..... but both this band and Diamondhead had the talent to be,...if not as good as them....then certainly better than what Def Leppard became. look how polished Maiden has become.....chalk it up to bad management....the talent was there
