At Sunday, June 17th, the Czech TV station CT2 broadcasted the weather cams from the Republic. But: the hacker Roman Tyc mixed atomic bomb detonation in the video... very good hack

The "hack" was not an actual hack, they just plugged the AV cable out of the cam, plugged it into a laptop and played a computer generated abomb video.

You can see that they disconnected the cam while holding a bright light in front of it.

It is still funny that he could acces the cam and so get acces to the cable television network.

No, the hack was that it is just pure genius. That camera ran on wifi, they broke into the the camera, and superimposed this live, in real time.

most people (and some comments here) asked how he did it or how he managed to hack into the television cable network. He didn't actually break into the network, he just disconnected and reconnected a AV cable somewhere in the wild. You can compare it with just exchanging a video tape while no one watches.

Hacking (even the wide spread usage in medias nowadays) often is connected to breaking into computers or surpassing some sort of security systems. On terms of "hack" it is one.

Please explain to me, how is that not a "hack". Hijacking a video feed (manual or not) is "hacking" as hacking is a broad term.
