In June 2011 two amateur groups belonging to the Telheiras Residents' Association (ART), the Coro ART (ART choir) and the Grupo de Dança Escocesa da ART (ART Scottish Country Dance Group), collaborated to produce three dances done to choral music. They were a pavane, (Belle qui tient ma vie), a waltz (Lomond Waltz), and the Scottish country dance, Mairi's Wedding. This is the pavane. Notice that it's quite hard to do "singles" and "doubles" under pressure -- our teacher, Roger, messes up just as he approaches the front of the stage! The video of Mairi's Wedding is also on youtube. The performance was part of an evening of choral music "Coro ART ComVida" at the Orlando Ribeiro Library in Telheiras, Lisbon, on July 1st, 2011.
