This question of whether to raise taxes misses a crucial fact:

The wealthiest corporation operating in the US is a private, foreign-owned bank called the Federal Reserve. It has paid no taxes at all for 97 years.

The Fed deals in trillions. If it were taxed .025% retroactively for 97 years, the national debt would disappear instantly, and every person and ever state govt would suddenly become fantastically wealthy.

We'd all in effect get our long-withheld inheritance.

Without Property Taxes, you could afford a surveillance system, you could afford fencing, you could afford a tractor. Electricity taxes??? Cell phone taxes? its not 49.99 a month after taxes. Homeless man buys a prepaid cell phone card, gets hit $1.50 911 tax. Course I did learn all my fancy english skills because of NH property taxes.
