SRV Tone (Rude Mood)

Using just the vibrolux and the vibroverb here. Neck and Middle pup with the middle tone rolled off a fair way and the neck rolled back just a tad. Sh!t camera can't seem to cope with night settings but you can hear the tone. The tone gets lost a bit when the backing track kicks in - it was too loud BUT you get the idea! One day I'll learn the rest of this song but I have a very short attention span lol.

trade your vibrolux in for 2 super reverb,getanother vibroverb, a '59 strat, dunlop univbe, vox wah, 2 ts808s and youve got srv tonage

I had 4 super reverbs at one point - I've got a V846 Wah and 2 TS808's. Doesn't matter what gear I get I know I'll never get "the" tone but it's fun trying.

i have to be honest , the guitar dusn look good natural. it wouldve been cool if you some of the paint give it a more vintage look or something

I know what you're saying but I really don't care what the guitar looks like. I'm not into that at all. It's all about tone. I stripped this Japanese strat back to release the wood from its tone tomb. You would not believe the difference it made. Best sounding of all my strats by far.
