Best Raging Waters Video, High Extreme Slide - JEM MotorSports GO PRO San Dimas Water Theme Park

August 2010 : Toying around with the GoPro Hero HD wide angel mini cam (R4: 960p@30fps) at Raging Waters in San Dimas, California.
Notes : MP4 Video quality / resolution has been compromised due to compression for editing on Windows Movie Maker MP3 .
The raw footage is 100 Xs better in person, as it is intended to be viewed on a flat screen monitor at 1080p.
Either way, had a great time and look forward to doing it again real soon...

Sounds like smart-ass question but I'll go ahead and entertain it.

Considering that Raging Waters sits on top of the San Dimas hills and being that this IS the tallest ride there, 7pm brings in a chilly breeze which takes a mid 70' degree weather into the low 60's due to wind chill factor.

You can try to tuff it out and freeze your nipples off OR go in comfort and laugh at all the people freezing their asses off. LOL!!!

...PLUS! you gain some serious speed wearing one.

how high is this slide? from what i heard it's 200-250 feet high. is that true?

Not sure on the overall height structure.

However, I do know you will travel through just over 600 feet

of tube/slide.

wtf!! you are allowed to ride the slides with a swimsuit on? and what happened to the donut shaped things to ride the rides? personally i find this better, i had bad experiences on this ride. my donut kept getting stuck and my boxers came down at the end of the slide. if i would have had a swimsuit on and that new ride thing , it would have saved me some embarrassing moments. Lulz.
