i was adopted and this song was what kept me held together. it shows love for a dog and the dogs love for humans...the lady who adopted me dont understand why i love dogs so much...this song should explain it....i know a dog would never leave me no matter what i do

I lost my sister 3 years3 months ago. She was as a child my only friend. Now my husband and our two dogs are my best friends. Times are hard still and I thanks you for showing you remember even more. Nice tribute!

I was about to comment in the afirmative until you mentioned the so called victims of "Katrina". To which I can only ask you: How is man kind better off, that is if those poor people had not not perished! What exactly was their contribution to the betterment of mankind? Will historians in 2000 years be lamenting their loss? I wound not bet on it!

I am sorry that the pain is still so strong. I know that it never goes away, but God does provide comfort and time mellows the pain. I think of our grief for our loved ones as another bond, of sorts. It links our memories to the pain, and brings them nearer to us in spirit. Your sister would be deeply touched that you've made such a nice tribute in her memory, and that you're sharing those memories of her with others. You must have been a close family. You are blessed to have shared such love.
